I had a true fun time with this book, and this is a great way to start off the series. Then the next time she needed to be tough and stand on her own, she’d remember what it felt like to have Hook, and it would be just a bit harder to go on alone. But when it was over, she’d still be alone, and a little weaker for having let him shoulder some of her burdens.

It would be so easy to fall into him, let him hold her, pleasure her, comfort her. But her ex boyfriend has gone crazy and rough, and is stalking her while she reconnects with Striker and kindles the passion she feels for Hook. And when she returns home after her mothers death to settle her affairs, she finds herself reuinited with the two men she calls family more than anyone else in her life. But his friend, Hook, was no brother to her. Her mother was a prostitute and a drug addict, and Striker took her in and looked out after her like a brother. But once Hook and Striker turned 18, they became prospects for the local MC “No Prisoners” and they found the family they never had growing up. But Hook and his best friend Striker and the girl they watched out for grew up together and looked out for each other. Hook is Australian, and his family moved to town and got involved in drugs. This book is a novella that sets off the series at a delightful beginning. Hook is the first book in the No Prisoners MC series. Will Hook be able to convince Marcie a life with him wouldn’t stifle her freedom? Their relationship is tested when Marcie clings to her hard-won life and when an aspect of that life threatens not only their future together, but their safety as well. Now she’s a beautiful, confident woman, and a bit too independent. She’s no longer a frightened teenager in need of a haven. Back when she was off limits, he wanted her, and it doesn’t take long before he realizes he still wants her. The moment Hook lays eyes on Marcie, it’s as though the last ten years apart never existed. But a bossy, alpha man is not what independent Marcie is looking for. And it appears that as an adult, not much has changed with regard to her feelings toward the sexy biker. All through her teenage years, Marcie’s heart belonged to Hook.
